Humanistic Education

Humanistic Education, a newly-introduced curriculum for Form 4, enriches our students' learning experience. This program is divided into two key components: Modules and Project Learning, both aiming at fostering comprehensive personal and intellectual growth.

Modules: Expanding Horizons

The Modules component of Humanistic Education offers students the opportunity to broaden their perspectives in various fields, such as Culture & Art, Science & Technology, and Social Sciences. These modules complement the core curriculum and electives, providing essential learning experiences that go beyond traditional subject limits. They encourage students to explore diverse areas, enhancing their knowledge and fostering a deeper understanding of the world.

Project Learning: Applying Knowledge for Betterment

Project Learning in Humanistic Education focuses on the practical application of skills and knowledge across different disciplines. It challenges students to integrate their learning into projects that contribute to both their self-improvement and the betterment of the community and the wider world. This hands-on approach helps develop students’ understanding of their capabilities and the impact they can have, encouraging skills necessary for real-world problem-solving.

The primary goal of Humanistic Education is to nurture positive values and attitudes in students, with a particular focus on fostering a humanistic spirit and social responsibility. Through this program, we aim to develop active and responsible citizens who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.
